Hi, I'm An and this is my wiki page. This is where I will display the work I've been doing in my reading group.
In Reading Groups, I have been doing an activity called 'Take a Picture'. In this activity, you get a folder full of different pictures and using those, you write a narrative. It is a really fun activity, as you get to make up whatever you want, based on those pictures.
Below is my Fotobabble on an extract from a book called 'Forget Me Not', by Sue Lawson. Although most people already know what happened in the Titanic, this book tells the story from a family's point of view.
Reflection:
It took me many attempts to finish my Fotobabble, but I think the end result was pretty good. My goal was to read with clarity and expression and I think I achieved that. I tried to use lots of expression when I was reading, so it would make it sound more interesting. If I do it again, I will try to do it in a quieter space so I can get the best result.

Explain the task In this activity, each group picked a 2012 Shortlisted Book. My group (Oakli, Julia, Rachel and I) chose 'A Bus Called Heaven', by Bob Graham. Then, we chose an online quiz website and made a short quiz about the book. We chose Quiz Revolution as our website. Then, we made a QR code for people to scan.
What did you enjoy most about this task? I enjoyed making the actual quiz, because we got to try different styles and themes to use.
What was your biggest challenge? My biggest challenge was putting it onto my wiki page, because you had to pay to embed it. So, instead we had to put a link on picture of our quiz.
Which skill did you find the most useful? I found using different websites for the quiz useful, because we got to compare them.
List 2 ways this task could help you in your future learning? 1. I can use the online quizzes for other subjects other than reading 2. It helps me to understand that there are many different websites and that I need to compare them and see which is better.
